Can't Touch This...

An update from Husker country:

The towel boys for the Nebraska football team are at it again. They had a truck rally in honor of the surely successful football season ahead. At the after party, there was a nude Dale Earnhardt look-a-like contest that your cousin-daddy Bubba won, hands down.

Jeff, I think you would look so great in a killer 'stache like the one your cousin-daddy is sporting.

Callahan is gone!

Yeah, I know it's old news, but just in case you don't know why it's worth repeating:

Nebraska vs. Nevada: 52 - 10 W

Nebraska at Wake Forest 20 – 17 W

Nebraska vs. USC 31 – 49 L

Nebraska vs. Ball State 41 – 40 L

Nebraska vs. Iowa St. 35 – 17 W

Nebraska at Missouri 6 – 41 L

Nebraska vs. Oklahoma St. 14 – 45 L

Nebraska vs. Texas A&M 14 – 36 L

Nebraska at Texas 25 – 28 L

Nebraska at Kansas 39 – 76 L

Nebraska vs. Kansas St. 73 – 31 W

Nebraska at Colorado 51 – 65 L

I know...we really won against Ball State, but when the best you can do is only 1 point, I call that a loss.

Anyhow, here's hoping that the Husker Women's Volleyball team will do us proud!!!

The return of Tom

Well, dear readers, I return from my autumnal sabbatical to find that my beloved Huskers have gotten thumped by the Kansas Gayhawks. And it wasn't just a small win for them, it was a record score against us!!! My gawd, we're almost as bad as Baylor this year!!! But fear not, Tom Osborne has returned and I rest assured that he will right the Husker boat before it sinks to the bottom.

I think it's time to take the message to the streets that the Husker's are on their way back to the top of the polls. To kick things off I have hired a plane to head for the East Coast. I would like you to meet the pilot, Typhoid Mary. Weird name, I know, but the price was right and she can do this thing with her tongue that...well, that's another story for another day.

The Husker Blues

Well, Husker fans everywhere are a bit blue these days. While we are all a bit sad over our loss in the Cotton Bowl, the chance to be a color other than red is amusing. Regardless, I think it's time for a vacation from all of the football craziness...I will report back soon...
